1) Promoter

The promoter is Wild Isle Adventures Ltd (“Promoter”), registered in Scotland at 2 Timsgarry, Isle of Lewis, HS2 9JD (company number [SC861358]). Contact: [hello@wildisleyurts.co.uk].

2) The Promotion

• This is a UK prize promotion (skill-based prize draw) to win multi-year access to a private yurt stay on the Isle of Lewis (the “Prize”).
• There are two draws running in parallel:
  • Main Prize Draw (paid or free entry).
  • Referrers’ Bonus Draw (entries awarded as referral rewards).
• The Prize is guaranteed and not contingent on the number of entries.

3) Key dates

• Opens: 00:00 on 1 October 2025.
• Closes: 23:59 on 31 March 2026, or earlier if the Promoter announces an early close on the website (e.g. once the entry cap/operational cap is reached).
• Draw date: No later than 31 March 2026.
• Any change due to events outside our control will be posted on the website; the Prize (or Alternative Award per clause 12) will still be awarded.

4) Eligibility

• UK residents only, aged 18+ at the time of entry.
• One natural person per account. Entries via agents/third parties, automated/bulk entries, disposable emails, or obvious self-referrals are void.
• The Promoter may require proof of age/identity/UK residency and may disqualify entries that do not comply.

5) How to enter — Main Prize Draw

You can enter either paid (online) or free (postal) with identical treatment:

a) Paid entry (online)

1. Visit wildisleyurts.co.uk and select the “Hebridean Basecamp Prize Draw Entry” product (£20).
2. Correctly answer the skill question displayed at checkout.
3. Complete purchase. A unique entry number will be issued.
4. Limit: 25 entries per person (combined across paid + free).
5. Cooling-off: You can cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund; cancelled entries are invalid.

b) Free entry (postal — no purchase necessary)

Post a hand-written postcard to [Free Entry, Wild Isle Adventures Ltd, 2 Timsgarry, Isle of Lewis, HS2 9JD] containing: full name, UK postal address, email, phone, the competition name (Hebridean Basecamp Prize Draw), and your answer to the skill question.

• One free entry per stamped envelope.
• Must be received by 25 March 2026.
• Illegible, bulk, metered, or machine-franked mail will not be entered.
• Free entries are logged and treated the same as paid entries.

6) Entry cap and price

• Ticket price: £20.
• Entry cap: up to 4,500 entries total for the Main Prize Draw.
• The Promoter may close the Promotion early once the cap (or an operational cap) is reached. All valid entries received by the close will be included in the draw.

7) Referrers’ Bonus Draw (separate bonus prize)

• Customers may share a personal referral link (shown in the on-site referral/rewards panel).
• When a referred friend completes a qualifying Main Prize Draw entry (paid entry not refunded within the 14-day cooling-off period, or a validated free postal entry), the referrer earns one Bonus Draw entry.
• Bonus Draw entries are not entries into the Main Prize Draw and do not affect the Main Prize odds.
• No cash value for Bonus Draw entries; they are issued/voided at the Promoter’s discretion in cases of error, fraud, or cancellation of the underlying qualifying entry.

8) Prizes

Main Prize Draw — 3 winners

• Two (2) winners (“Main Winners”) each receive:
  25 nights per year for 5 consecutive years (total 125 nights) at our dune-side Hebridean yurt basecamp on the Isle of Lewis.
• One (1) winner is reserved for the Referrers’ Bonus Draw (see below).
• The Prize includes accommodation only. Travel, food, activities, and other costs are not included.

Referrers’ Bonus Draw — 1 winner

• The Bonus Winner receives the same 5-year placement (25 nights per year; 125 total).
• Drawn at the same time as the Main Prize Draw.

Prize usage rules (apply to all winners)

• No rollover: Nights must be used within each prize year.
• Gifting allowed within the year: You may gift nights to family/friends by prior notice; no commercial resales.
• Summer weeks: A simple allocation draw takes place each January to set the order in which winners/Founders choose one peak-summer 7-night block.
• Rest of year: Flexible booking subject to availability and minimum-stay rules (typically 3-night minimum off-peak).
• Capacity: The site sleeps up to 4 (double + trundles). Sensible tent pitching for additional guests may be permitted on request.
• House rules: No parties; respect the croft, neighbours, wildlife, and safety guidance; no smoking indoors. The Promoter may request a refundable security deposit for stays.
• Transfers: Prize placements are not transferable in full; only individual nights can be gifted as above.
• Blackouts: Short maintenance/closure windows may apply (minimised and communicated).

9) Founders (not part of the Promotion)

Separately from this Promotion, a limited number of Founder places may be offered for direct purchase (e.g., £5,000 for 25 nights/year for 5 years). Founders’ terms are set out on the Founders page and are outside these T&Cs.

10) Winner selection, notification & verification

• Winners are selected at random from eligible entries using a verifiable computer process.
• The draw will be filmed or independently witnessed.
• Winners will be notified by email (and/or phone) within 7 days of the draw.
• If a winner cannot be contacted or fails verification within 14 days, the Promoter may award the prize to a reserve drawn at the same time.

11) Publicity & winners list

• The Promoter may publish the winners’ first name and county and/or share images with consent.
• To request winners’ details, email [hello@wildisleyurts.co.uk] within 30 days of the draw.

12) Alternative Award (last resort)

The Prize is guaranteed. Only if delivery becomes impossible or unlawful due to events outside the Promoter’s reasonable control (e.g., destruction of the site, long-term incapacity, a legal or planning prohibition) will an Alternative Award be made: £1,500 to each prize winner (Main and Bonus). Where made, the Promoter will also refund that winner’s own ticket spend (up to £500). Undersubscription or commercial decisions are not grounds to substitute the Prize.

13) Refunds & cancellations

• Paid entries: 14-day cooling-off applies. After 14 days, entries are final and non-refundable.
• Entries cancelled/refunded are invalid and (if relevant) any linked Bonus Draw entry may be voided.
• Postal entries cannot be returned.

14) Fair play and disqualification

The Promoter may refuse, void, or disqualify entries/bonus entries that are: late, incomplete, incorrect, duplicated, made in bad faith or breach of these T&Cs, or that manipulate the referral system (including self-referrals, same-household referrals, disposable emails, bots, or other abuse). The Promoter’s decision is final.

15) Liability

As far as permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for entries or communications lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged, or unsuccessful due to network, technical, or postal issues. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

16) Data protection

Personal data is processed to administer the Promotion and, if you consent, for marketing by the Promoter. See our Privacy Policy at [link]. We will share winners’ details with third parties only as required by law or to fulfil the Prize.

17) Changes to these Terms

We may update these T&Cs to correct errors or to reflect changes in law or circumstances beyond our control. Any material change will be posted on the website. No change will materially reduce your chances of winning or your prize entitlement.

18) Law & jurisdiction

These T&Cs and the Promotion are governed by Scottish law. The courts of Scotland will have exclusive jurisdiction.
