What You Win

The Experience

The yurt sits on our working croft in Ardroil, a short stroll from Uig Sands. You’ll find peace and privacy with only cattle, hens and quail for company — and we’ll make sure you leave with a few fresh eggs. The site is off-grid and solar-powered, so your stay is light on the land as well as unforgettable under the stars.

Our yurt is being built by Paul of Highland Yurts, a small family business crafting traditional, low-impact yurts in Scotland since 2005.

We’re Sean and Eloise, raising four children while building our home on this croft without a traditional mortgage. This competition helps fund that journey, while giving you the chance to share in the magic of island life.

  3. Winners are randomly drawn by 28 February 2027, in a filmed or independently witnessed process. If you win, we’ll contact you within 7 days.

  • Bulk discounts: £2.60/ticket for 10–19 entries; £2.50/ticket for 20–49; £2.40/ticket for 50–100. (Per-ticket odds unchanged.)
  • Prize guaranteed regardless of entries sold — 3 winners total.
  • Closing date: on or before 28 February 2027 — all valid entries included.
  • House rules: quiet hours 22:00–07:00; no parties; no indoor smoking; fires in the fire pit only; respect livestock and wildlife; aviary/solar area is staff-only. Lead guest must be 18+ and present. We act fairly and proportionately — safety comes first (see T&Cs).
