Secure your Hebridean basecamp for the next 5 years
Founders are a small handful of people who’d rather guarantee time at the yurt than leave it to chance. It’s simple: you pre-purchase stays, we ring-fence the time for you, and your support helps us finish the house on the croft.
What you get
- 25 nights each year for 5 years (125 nights total) at our insulated, en-suite yurt by the dunes in Uig, Isle of Lewis.
- Sleeps up to 4 (double + trundles), wood stove, hot shower, fire pit/picnic space.
- Lifetime 50% off Wild Isle bone broth & tallow products as a thank-you.
- A straightforward point of contact (Sean/Eloise) and clear booking rules.
Price & availability
- £5,000 per Founder place.
- Limited to 4 Founder places.
- Starts with the 2026 season.
How booking works
- Each January we run a simple allocation draw for summer weeks so Founder(s) and prize winners choose in a fair order.
- The rest of the year is first-come, subject to availability and a typical 3-night minimum off-peak.
- Use-it-or-lose-it each year (no rollover between years).
- You can gift nights within the year (no resales).
How to reserve a place
- Email us: founders@wildisleyurts.co.uk (or use the form below).
- We’ll send a short Founders Agreement and answer any questions.
- Payment by bank transfer or card invoice. A 14-day cooling-off period applies; after that, the place is confirmed.
A few plain-English notes
- Founders are outside the prize draw; they don’t change the number of prizes or anyone’s odds.
- If something goes wrong on our side (e.g. serious delay or a season we can’t reasonably offer), we’ll extend your end date or refund the unused portion pro-rata—your choice.
- House rules are simple: keep it tidy, respect the croft and neighbours, no parties, no smoking indoors. A refundable security deposit may be requested for stays.
- Travel and other costs are not included.

Thank you for considering it. Your support turns timber, insulation and pipework into a small, lived-in home—and gives you a reliable place to land in the islands for the next five years.
